Albany man gets up to 4 years in prison for giving gun to teen who died
An Albany man was sentenced on Friday to 1 1/3 to 4 years in prison giving a gun to a 14-year-old boy who accidentally shot and killed himself.
Ellazar Williams pleaded guilty in Albany County Court in April to criminally negligent homicide.

Williams was arrested after police said he gave the weapon to a teen at new Hope Terrace. The teen died on Jan. 26.
The city of Albany reached a $3 million settlement with Williams in Albany, who was shot by police and paralyzed.
A grand jury had cleared police of any wrongdoing in the matter.
