Alert Day: Potential for severe storms into this evening
Gusty west and northwest winds will stick around today, helping to usher in passing lake effect and upslope snow showers through the end of the week. Winds at times will gust as high as 45-55 mph, making it feel like the mid 20s. Highs will stay in the 30s today and Friday with a mix of sun and clouds both days. It will stay mostly cloudy and windy tonight with lows in the 20s.
Even colder air follows heading into the weekend with highs cooling down into the 20s for Saturday and Sunday. Lake effect snow comes to an end by Sunday morning. Next week will be dry with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the 20s.
