Man convicted of attacking Moreau woman he met online

A jury has found a man guilty of attacking a woman he met on a dating app.
Michael Pelletier was convicted Wednesday evening of criminal sex act in the first-degree.
It happened at a home in Moreau in June 2023.
The jury found that he forced himself on the woman, who testified during the two-week trial. He faces up to 25 years in prison when he’s sentenced.
Sentencing is tentatively scheduled for Dec. 4.
