National Grid bringing in extra crews for winter storm
National Grid says they’re ready for the wintry weather in our area. They’ve added staff and increased evening and overnight shifts. More resources are being called from as far away as Indiana, Ontario and Quebec.

Crews are already standing by crews in areas expected to be hardest hit.
The areas surrounding the Capital Region are expected to receive the most snow and high winds, according to the NewsChannel 13 First Warning Weather Team. However, a few slushy inches are also possible in the Capital Region, which could make Thursday morning’s commute tricky.
