Report: Shuttered Spectrum Theatre in Albany may have new buyer

Scene One Entertainment has submitted an application to buy the Spectrum 8 Theatre in Albany.

This is according to the Times Union.

The permit application lists the property as “Scene One Spectrum 8 Theatres.”

If this goes through, Spectrum 8 on Delaware Avenue would be the third upstate New York movie theater operated by Scene One.

This comes just one month after the theater closed its doors.

The co-owner of the building declined to comment on the permit.

Scene One could not be reached for comment.
