A man who pleaded guilty to stabbing his ex-girlfriend in the Hudson Valley Community College parking lot is due to be sentenced on Wednesday.
Zymeir Walton‘s surprise confession came during the middle of his trial earlier this month.
Walton tried to kill his ex by stabbing her multiple times with a kitchen knife in 2022, according to an indictment.
Walton also pleaded guilty to assault and robbery for stealing the woman’s car after he stabbed her.
