Winter returns

A sleety icy mix of precipitation will affect the region by early Sunday morning. Slick roads and sidewalks are expected to develop across the higher terrain east and west of Albany, as well as, across the Mohawk Valley, Southern Adirondacks to Saratoga Springs and Lake George. Ice accumulations will be greatest across the Mohawk Valley and Southern Adirondacks where up to 1/4 of an inch of ice is possible. Precipitation will change to rain from south to north during the morning (but not until early afternoon for the Mohawk Valley and Adirondacks). Rain will end all areas by late Sunday afternoon/early evening
